The company
This is a Danish green-tech startup company with a mission to make synthetic turf environmentally sustainable. They provide sport arenas and stadiums with the opportunity to dispose of their worn-out synthetic turf in a safe and environmentally sustainable way. Re- Match is currently building a new turf recycling plant in Tiel, the Netherlands. The plant will be a state-of-the-art, digitized facility that will serve as a blueprint for other new recycling plants that Re-Match plans to build in Europe and North America. The job
The first months of employment, you will be assisting with the construction and commissioning of the installation as your first and foremost task. The hiring, onboarding and training of the production and maintenance teams is part of this. It is expected that 3 shift leaders, 15 operators, an electrician and a mechanic will fall under your span of control. As the production manager you are the link between management and the shop floor and vice versa. You are also responsible for production planning. After commissioning, the next phase starts and you ensure effective communication and cooperation with sales, quality, logistics and other relevant departments. As a production manager you will implement the fundamental maintenance systems, the continuous improvement of these systems and the procedures. You comply with this in close cooperation with the QHSE manager. Reliable production based on established capacity and quality (OTIF) is your responsibility. You make reports of product performance (OOE & OEE) and use these for continuous improvement of plant performance. Finally, you
manage the front-end (fields) and back-end inventory (rubber, PVC, sand).
Your profile
● HBO Work and thinking level (Business Administration, WTB or similar)
● You have at least 5 years of experience in the role of production manager,
● You have experience with the LEAN principles, a green belt is an advantage,
● You have demonstrably worked with OOE & OEE,
● You master the Dutch and English Language.
